Adam Alis reveals sadness over teammates’ departure from Persib Bandung

According to Tribun Jabar, Persib Bandung midfielder Adam Alis expressed his sense of loss after 13 teammates — including several foreign players — left the Liga 1 champion club ahead of the 2025/2026 season.

“Personally, I’m quite sad. Because we had such a cohesive team last season,” stated Adam Alis.

This major squad overhaul presents a unique challenge for Maung Bandung — the team that just claimed the Liga 1 title. Coach Bojan Hodak now faces the demanding task of crafting the best team composition.

The 31-year-old player shared his hopes for the new players:

“Well, hopefully the replacements will be even better than last season’s players,” he added.

The team will begin joint training at the end of June as preparation for the 2025 President’s Cup next month. Currently, players are following individual training programs before regrouping.
