AC Milan Wonderkid Francesco Camarda Dropped from First Team Squad

Francesco Camarda – AC Milan’s wonderkid who joined the club’s academy in 2015 – now faces a difficult situation in the Rossoneri’s first team. The 17-year-old striker previously recorded impressive statistics at junior level with 485 goals from 89 appearances.

The 189 cm tall player made history when making his Serie A debut against Fiorentina – becoming the youngest player in competition history at 15 years and 260 days old. Last season, Camarda split time between the senior team and Milan Futuro in Serie C.

His performance with the U-23 team was solid – scoring 5 goals and 1 assist from 18 appearances in Serie C, plus 2 goals and 1 assist in 2 Coppa Italia Serie C matches. With the senior team, he recorded 10 appearances in Serie A and 4 appearances in the Champions League.

However, unlike the previous season, club management has decided to no longer provide a place for Camarda in AC Milan’s first team squad this season.
