AC Milan Wins Dramatic 2-1 Over Genoa in Serie A

AC Milan secured a dramatic 2-1 victory over Genoa in the 35th round of Serie A at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium. Under the guidance of Sergio Conceicao, the team showed their championship mentality by coming back from behind.

Genoa took the lead with a goal from Vitinha in the 61st minute, but Rafael Leao equalized in the 76th minute before an own goal by Morten Frendrup in the following minute sealed the win for Milan.

This marks the seventh comeback win for I Rossoneri this season, having previously:

  • Two victories against Como
  • Win over Parma
  • Victory against Lecce
  • Two comeback wins in Italian Super Cup against Juventus and Inter Milan

Despite this victory, it may be too late for the Rossoneri to secure a spot in European competitions next season, as they remain in ninth place in the Serie A standings.
