AC Milan suffers 0-1 defeat to Arsenal in Singapore preseason match

AC Milan suffered a narrow defeat in their preseason match against Arsenal at the National Stadium, Singapore. Rossoneri had to acknowledge The Gunners’ superiority with a 0-1 scoreline through Bukayo Saka’s lone goal.

Both teams fielded several of their new recruits in this match — Christian Noorgard, Martin Zubimendi, Kepa Arrizabalaga, and Samuele Ricci got their chances to play.

Arsenal dominated the game proceedings with attacks built from the right wing through Saka’s movements. Milan, playing with a five-defender formation, relied more on counterattacks through Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic.

Arsenal’s best chance came from Ricardo Calafiori’s header which was still thwarted by Milan’s defense right on the goal line. Meanwhile, Milan’s counterattacks failed to pose significant threats to Arsenal’s goalkeeper, David Raya.
