AC Milan releases two key players to Man City and Napoli

AC Milan has made surprising moves in this summer’s transfer window — the club is focusing more on selling players rather than bringing in new names.

Tijjani Reijnders has officially joined Manchester City for a transfer fee of 55 million euros, which could rise to 70 million euros with various bonuses.

Next, American midfielder Yunus Musah is reportedly set to follow with a move to Napoli — the Italian club is ready to meet Milan’s asking price of 25 million euros.

“It was fun being in the locker room with Yunus every day at Milan. His performance hasn’t been consistent but I said his time would come and he just needs to keep working hard,” said Christian Pulisic, captain of the United States national team.
