AC Milan ready for major squad overhaul next season

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Igli Tare and Massimiliano Allegri — AC Milan’s new technical director and coach — are preparing for a major overhaul of the Rossoneri squad.

The Italian fashion capital team will lose several key players:

  • Tijjani Reijnders sold to Manchester City
  • Kyle Walker, Tammy Abraham, Joao Felix, and Riccardo Sottil returning to parent clubs
  • Alessandro Florenzi and Luka Jovic contracts expiring
  • Theo Hernandez, Malick Thiaw, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Yunus Musah, and Santiago Gimenez on transfer list

With 4-3-3 formation to be implemented — Milan needs six new players to fill positions at right-back, left-back, center-back, two midfielders, and striker. Tare and Allegri now focus on pursuing targets within club’s financial capabilities.
