AC Milan Plans to Sign New Striker to Compete with Santiago Gimenez

AC Milan’s new sports director, Igli Tare, revealed the club’s plans to sign a new striker — this move aims to create competition with Santiago Gimenez.

I Rossoneri spent 32 million euros to bring Gimenez from Feyenoord Rotterdam during last winter’s transfer window — at that time, the Mexican striker had scored 16 goals with the Dutch club.

Currently, Milan’s forward line features three main strikers:

  • Santiago Gimenez
  • Tammy Abraham
  • Luka Jovic

“We need a new striker who can provide healthy competition for Gimenez. The club misses a character like Olivier Giroud,” said Tare.
