AC Milan fails to secure young Strasbourg defender in transfer window

According to Bolasport.com, RC Strasbourg has rejected AC Milan’s offer for their key defender — Guela Doue. The Serie A club proposed 15 million euros for the 22-year-old player.

Doue impressed throughout the 2024-2025 season with one goal and two assists from 34 appearances in Ligue 1. His performance significantly contributed to Strasbourg’s success in finishing seventh and qualifying for the Conference League.

The young defender is the older brother of Desire Doue — PSG’s forward who became the hero in the Champions League final few weeks ago. The younger sibling scored twice when defeating Inter Milan in the match held in Munich.
