AC Milan Faces Fullback Crisis Ahead of Asian Pre-season Tour

AC Milan is facing a challenging situation regarding fullback positions ahead of their pre-season tour to Asia. The Rossoneri have lost several key players — Theo Hernandez who was sold to Al Hilal, while Davide Calabria and Alessandro Florenzi departed after their contracts expired.

The problem intensified when Kyle Walker had to return to Manchester City after his loan period ended. Meanwhile, Filippo Terracciano was not included in the squad list announced by coach Massimiliano Allegri earlier this month.

While Emerson Royal is included in the squad, he is unlikely to feature prominently as he’s on the transfer list. The club’s attempt to sign Archie Brown also failed after the player chose to join Fenerbahce — leaving Milan short of fullback options ahead of the pre-season tour starting next week.
