AC Milan Eyes Noah Atubolu as Maignan’s Replacement

According to Calciomercato, AC Milan has made an approach to Germany U-21 goalkeeper Noah Atubolu as a potential replacement for Mike Maignan.

The Rossoneri recently held a meeting with Atubolu’s agent to discuss the contract situation of the 190 cm tall goalkeeper.

Freiburg, Atubolu’s current club, has opened the door to letting their star goalkeeper leave during the summer transfer window — provided an acceptable offer comes in.

In the race to sign Atubolu, Milan faces competition from two major European clubs — West Ham United and Bayer Leverkusen, both of which have shown interest.
