According to Bolasport.com, AC Milan is considering a bold move—appointing Cesc Fabregas as head coach for the 2025-2026 season.

The Rossoneri will part ways with Sergio Conceição this June—despite the coach still having a chance to secure the Coppa Italia title following their Supercoppa success earlier this year.

In their search for a new head coach, Milan has compiled a list of potential candidates, including:

  • Massimiliano Allegri

  • Stefano Pioli

  • Roberto Mancini

  • Maurizio Sarri

  • Roberto De Zerbi

Fabregas—currently managing Como 1907, which is owned by the Hartono Family through Djarum Group—has emerged as a surprising contender. The 37-year-old coach has drawn attention due to his limited experience in Serie A management.

If Milan seriously considers Fabregas, it would mark a bold shift towards a younger managerial approach. His tactical philosophy and ability to command a top-tier club will be under scrutiny, especially against more seasoned candidates with proven track records in elite European competitions.
