Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik Dominate Sudirman Cup 2025

Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik — the world number four men’s doubles pair from Malaysia — delivered a dominant performance in the fourth Group C match of the Sudirman Cup 2025 at the Xiamen Feng Huang Gymnasium, China.

Facing Australia’s representatives Jack Yu and Frederick Zhao, the Malaysian duo needed only 26 minutes to secure a convincing win with scores of 21-8, 21-9.

Chia/Soh showed their dominance from the start — securing four straight points and extending their lead to 11-1 by the first interval.

After the break, the pair — coached by Indonesian coach Herry Iman Pierngadi — added another three consecutive points, leaving the Australian pair behind at 14-1, and eventually sealing a comprehensive victory.
