Aaron Chia/Soh aim for world title with Herry IP

According to Bernama, Malaysian doubles pair Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik revealed their ambition to claim the 2025 World Championship title — following their Asian Championships success under coach Herry Iman Pierngadi’s guidance.

The 2025 World Championships will be held in Paris, France in late August — after last year’s absence due to the Paris 2024 Olympics.

“Of course, we’re aiming for the World Championships this year, but as I’ve said before, we’re still adapting to coach Herry‘s gameplay,” stated Aaron Chia.

Herry IP, who joined the Malaysian team in February — only began directly coaching Chia/Soh at the recently concluded Asian Championships.
