Team Liquid Signs V-Tune as Stand-in for ESL DreamLeague Season 26

Team Liquid has made a surprising move by signing former Natus Vincere carry Alik “V-Tune” Vorobey as a temporary stand-in ahead of ESL DreamLeague Season 26, set to begin this weekend.

According to the official roster listing, V-Tune will replace key player Michael “miCKe” Vu as the team’s carry for the tournament. Liquid has yet to release an official statement explaining the sudden absence of the Swedish pro.

The decision has sparked concern among fans, as miCKe has long been seen as an irreplaceable figure of the squad. Known for his above-average mechanical skills, he also served as the team’s sole in-game leader, renowned for his ability to analyze high-pressure scenarios and guide strategic decisions.

Meanwhile, doubts linger around V-Tune’s current form, as the Ukrainian player has struggled to regain his glory since leaving NaVi in 2023. However, his mechanical prowess remains undeniable, having showcased impressive plays and unique draft strategies in major tournaments over the last few seasons.
