PSSI Supports the “90′ & Beyond” Photo Exhibition Highlighting the Indonesian National Team’s Journey

JAKARTA — The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) has thrown its full support behind “90′ & Beyond,” a special photo and writing exhibition celebrating and honoring the Indonesian national team’s achievements over the past two years. The event will run from August 24–29 in the public area of Sarinah Mall, Jakarta.

Organized by PSSI, PSSI Pers, and the Indonesian Photojournalists Association (PFI), the exhibition is part of the build-up to the PSSI Awards on August 30. Official announcement here.

“90′ & Beyond” presents 69 photographs capturing the Garuda squad’s most iconic moments — from intense on-field battles to candid glimpses behind the scenes.

Accompanying the visuals are 19 written works offering deeper insights into the team’s journey, challenges, and triumphs.

“The PSSI, supporters, media, and public must unite in supporting the national team with one shared goal: the World Cup,” said PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir, via the official PSSI website.

More than just an exhibition

Organizers say the title “90′ & Beyond” symbolizes more than match time — it reflects a collective portrait of passion, perseverance, and the emotional journey behind the team’s recent campaigns.

Beyond the displays, the week-long program features discussion sessions, video screenings, and interactive activities designed to connect fans with the football community and the media.

Recognizing the media’s role in football history

PSSI Media Committee Chairman Arya Sinulingga emphasized the contribution of journalists in preserving the legacy of Indonesian football:

“Each photo tells a story, emotion, and sacrifice rarely seen by the public. We are proud of the dedication of our fellow journalists, and we hope these works inspire love, pride, and renewed enthusiasm for Indonesian football.”

Chief Executive Octobryan said the exhibition emerged from the media’s deep passion for the Garuda team. PFI Jakarta Chairman Herman Zhakaria added:

“Behind every goal and cheer, there is a story, sweat, and struggle.”
