Liu/Tan claim China Open 2025 title after defeating fellow Chinese women’s doubles

Liu Sheng Shu/Tan Ning secured the China Open 2025 championship after defeating their compatriots Jia Yi Fan/Zhang Shu Xian in the final match held at the Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium, Changzhou.

The 69-minute contest concluded with a score of 24-22, 17-21, 21-14 — marking Liu/Tan’s triumph in claiming the BWF Super 1000 title.

The opening game was tightly contested with both pairs exchanging points three times. Liu/Tan displayed effective fast-paced play — though they fell behind 9-11 at the first interval due to Jia Yi Fan’s deceptive shots.

After the break, the Indonesia Open 2025 champions managed to reduce their deficit to just one point from their opponents — before eventually sealing victory in three games.
