Layne Riggs dominates at Indianapolis leading 159 laps

Layne Riggs delivered an exceptional performance in the NASCAR Truck Series race at Indianapolis Raceway Park — leading 159 of 200 laps to claim an impressive victory.

“My team was amazing — this truck was incredible,” said Riggs, who now has four wins in the NASCAR Truck Series. “I was just out front saving tires at the end. Thanks to everyone at Front Row.”

Corey Day finished second, while Stewart Friesen initially finished third in his 200th start — but was later disqualified when his number 52 truck failed post-race inspection.

Despite dropping to seventh at the start of the final stage, Riggs quickly returned to the front. He engaged in an intense battle with Corey Heim before ultimately taking the lead from Friesen with 50 laps remaining.

  • Corey Heim finished third and secured the regular season championship
  • Grant Enfinger took fourth place
  • Ty Majeski completed the top five
  • Ross Chastain recovered from a loose wheel during pit stop to finish ninth

The first stage ran without incident as Riggs climbed from his 11th starting position to claim the stage win. The second stage saw only one yellow flag when Josh Reaume hit the wall, but Riggs remained dominant to sweep both stages.
