Persik Kediri secured a narrow victory in a closed friendly match against Persebaya Surabaya at Gelora 10 November Stadium, Surabaya.

According to Tribun Jatim, the unannounced match — ended with a 1-0 score in favor of the visiting team from Kediri.

M Syahid Nur Ichsan, Persik Kediri’s manager, emphasized the importance of this match for both teams.

“This joint training session is very necessary as preparation for Persik Kediri ahead of the Super League 2025/2026,” stated Syahid.

This friendly match came as a surprise to fans — considering Persebaya had never previously announced plans for a match against fellow Super League club.
