Kuala Lumpur City FC faces training ground issues ahead of new season

Kuala Lumpur City FC — former club of Bojan Hodak — is facing a difficult situation ahead of Malaysia Super League 2025-2026.

Coach Risto Vidakovic revealed a serious obstacle facing his team — the absence of a permanent training ground that hampers team preparation process.

“We need to find the right field for daily training and preparation. Ball bounce on the field affects our team’s passing practice,” Vidakovic stated.

Currently, the Malaysian capital city team is forced to rotate between several training locations:

  • DRB Hicom Field
  • Sime Darby Bukit Jelutong
  • University of Malaya Field C
  • Pudu Ulu Community Field
