Chen/Toh stopped at China Open 2025 quarterfinals

Malaysian mixed doubles pair Chen Tang Jie/Toh Ee Wei suffered a defeat in the China Open 2025 quarterfinals — they fell to home representatives Guo Xin Wa/Chen Fang Hui with scores of 19-21, 15-21 at the Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium, Changzhou.

Despite being fourth seeds, Chen/Toh failed to reach the final of this BWF World Tour Super 1000 tournament. This result comes as a surprise considering their semifinal appearance at Japan Open 2025 last week.
