Jafar/Felisha advance to China Open semifinals after defeating third seeds

Jafar Hidayatullah and Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu continued their impressive run at the China Open 2025 after defeating the third seeds from Hong Kong.

Playing at the Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium in Changzhou, the world number 14 Indonesian pair — secured victory over Tang Chun Man/Tse Ying Tsuet with scores of 21-13, 18-21, 21-17.

The 68-minute match showcased Jafar/Felisha’s dominance — particularly in the first game when they managed to score five consecutive points before the interval.

This victory makes Jafar/Felisha the sole remaining Indonesian representatives in mixed doubles — following Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja’s earlier elimination.
