Erick Thohir requests 50 percent ticket allocation for Indonesian supporters in Jeddah

According to PSSI, Erick Thohir as PSSI Chairman plans to request significant ticket allocation for Indonesia National Team matches in the 2026 World Cup Asian Qualifiers.

The Garuda team is drawn in Group B alongside Saudi Arabia and Iraq — all matches will be held at King Abdullah Stadium, Jeddah this coming October.

“We will send a letter to Saudi Arabia to open access for Indonesian national team spectators,” said Erick Thohir.

PSSI targets allocation of up to 50 percent stadium capacity for Indonesian supporters — this strategy considers the large Indonesian community residing in Saudi Arabia.

The presence of substantial supporter numbers is expected to provide moral boost for the Garuda squad in facing tough challenges against Saudi Arabia and Iraq on away ground.
