Farhan Halim officially joins VC Nagano Tridents for 2025-2026 season

Farhan Halim — the key outside hitter of Indonesian men’s national volleyball team — is ready to make new history in Japanese professional volleyball for the 2025-2026 season.

The player from Cimahi has signed a one-season contract with VC Nagano Tridents — a club that previously served as home for other Indonesian players like Rivan Nurmulki and Doni Haryono.

Farhan’s presence will add to the list of Asian players who will enliven the most prestigious volleyball competition on the continent. Rivan Nurmulki’s achievement with Wolfdogs Nagoya reaching semifinals last season serves as special inspiration.

Meanwhile, in the women’s division, Giovanna Day — a player from the United States — will strengthen last season’s runners-up, NEC Red Rockets Kawasaki.
