Manchester United Drop Four Players from US Preseason Tour

According to ESPN, Manchester United have made a firm decision to exclude four players — Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Tyrell Malacia, and Jadon Sancho — from their upcoming preseason tour to the United States next week.

The quartet — currently training separately from the main squad at Carrington — are on the club’s transfer list this summer. This decision represents the club’s support for head coach Ruben Amorim who considers them surplus to his plans.

United are prepared to entertain reduced offers to offload these players before the transfer window closes. Antony has been linked with Real Betis and Atlético Madrid, while Garnacho — previously valued at £70 million in January — could now be acquired for around £40 million.

Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford has arrived in Barcelona to finalize a season-long loan move. The Catalan club will cover his entire wages and have a permanent transfer option worth €30 million next season.
