Keisuke Honda gives important advice for Indonesian national team progress

Japanese football legend Keisuke Honda shared his perspective on how Indonesian national team can compete at Asian level — the statement was made after his match with Asia Warrior FC against Persik Kediri at Brawijaya Stadium.

The former AC Milan player responded to media questions about Indonesia’s strategy to catch up with Japan — considering that in the past year, the Garuda squad has suffered three consecutive defeats against the Blue Samurai at senior level.

“Yes, of course there’s something you need repeatedly,” stated Honda in Kediri.

“But I just want to say that some Indonesian national team players should pursue careers in Europe,” he added.
