KTM confirms four bikes commitment for MotoGP 2026

According to GPone.com, KTM Motorsport Director Pit Beirer has announced the Austrian manufacturer’s commitment to maintain four bikes for the 2026 MotoGP season.

This decision comes amid speculation about KTM’s future in MotoGP — which was questioned due to the company’s financial concerns. KTM’s new CEO, Gottfried Neumeister, attended Brno Circuit personally to provide this confirmation.

The announcement timing coincided with KTM’s positive results at Brno, where Pedro Acosta and Enea Bastianini secured podium finishes in the Sprint race, while Acosta claimed another podium in the main race.

“Our CEO is here with me to tell the teams that we will continue. We will have four bikes in MotoGP, not two or one bike,” Beirer explained.

However, for 2027 and beyond, KTM is still monitoring the situation — particularly regarding Liberty Media’s entry as MotoGP’s new owner, which is expected to expand the market into the United States.
