Team Vitality Claims First EWC 2025 Trophy at MLBB Women’s Invitational

Team Vitality has claimed their first trophy of the EWC 2025 circuit after the decisive victory at the MLBB Women Invitational 2025.

This was a sweet moment for the veteran captain Vivi “Vivian” Indrawaty and mates, especially after their shocking loss in the inaugural MWI at last year’s EWC. This result solidifies their status as one of the top teams in Southeast Asia and globally.

Remarkably, Vitality became the first team in MWI x EWC history to achieve a perfect run – winning every single match without a single loss throughout the series. So, it’s no surprise they were the heavy favorites to win the tournament.

Gaimin Gladiators who faced them in the ultimate battle was outstanding as well, given this was their first international competition since forming in mid-2024. However, Vitality’s superior experience and mechanical skill proved to be the decisive difference in the final match.

In the best-of-seven (BO7) series, Vitality played flawlessly, giving GG no openings to break through their defenses. Across all four games played, there was never any doubt among spectators that Vitality would struggle against the North American representatives.

The only challenge for Vitality came in games two and three, where GG secured powerful heroes Hayabusa and Selena for their lineup. However, the incredible mechanics of Vitality’s mid laner, Cindy “Cinny” Siswanto, consistently saved her team from difficult situations.

As champions, Vitality takes home the $150,000 prize. This win also sends a positive signal for Indonesia, who will rely on this squad as their representative in the women’s MLBB event at the upcoming SEA Games 2025 in Thailand.
