Manchester United Set to Complete £70m Bryan Mbeumo Transfer

According to ESPN, Bryan Mbeumo is on the verge of joining Manchester United after both clubs agreed to a transfer fee exceeding £70 million from Brentford.

The Cameroonian forward has completed his medical examination and agreed to personal terms — official announcement is expected shortly before the team departs for Chicago for their United States preseason tour.

Manchester United is scheduled to play three matches in the United States with stops in:

• Chicago
• New York
• Atlanta

Mbeumo’s arrival will mark United’s second major summer recruitment following Matheus Cunha, who was purchased from Wolves for £62.5 million. Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford is unlikely to join the US tour as he is in the process of securing a loan move to Barcelona, with the Catalan club set to cover his entire salary.
