Jorge Martin Scores First Points with Aprilia at Czech GP

Jorge Martin finally secured his first points with Aprilia after finishing seventh at the Czech GP — marking his successful return after an extended injury recovery period.

The reigning world champion started from twelfth position — an impressive showing considering this was only his second race in 2025 following a serious crash in Qatar GP that resulted in broken ribs.

“Happy for Aprilia. I think it’s difficult to believe, but now it starts to feel like home,” stated Martin at Brno.

After facing contractual uncertainty, Martin has now confirmed his commitment to stay with Aprilia next season — a decision warmly welcomed by Aprilia Team Director Massimo Rivola.

“I’m happy to hear what he said and happy to see him smiling. He’s already quite confident on the bike,” said Rivola regarding his rider’s positive development.
