Ahead of China Open 2025, Rionny Mainaky gives guidance to two mixed doubles pairs

Before the BWF World Tour Super 1000 China Open 2025, Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu and Amri Syahnawi/Nita Violina Marwah — two Indonesian mixed doubles pairs received special guidance from coach Rionny Mainaky.

The tournament, scheduled at the Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium, Changzhou from July 22-27, has drawn attention from badminton fans nationwide — particularly regarding the performance of these two young pairs.

Jafar/Felisha have demonstrated great potential as the next generation of Indonesian mixed doubles — proven by their Taipei Open 2025 championship title. Jafar’s unique left-handed playing style adds a different dimension to their game.

At Japan Open 2025, this young pair recorded mixed results — defeating All England 2025 champions Guo Xin Wa/Chen Fang Hui from China, but later stopped by Malaysian seeds Chen Tang Jie/Toh Ee Wei.
