Marc Marquez claims 70th victory at Czech MotoGP

Marc Marquez strengthened his dominance in the 2025 MotoGP season by securing his 70th victory at the Czech GP — solidifying his path toward a seventh world title.

The Ducati rider outpaced Marco Bezzecchi who finished second, while Pedro Acosta completed the podium in third position — leaving pole-sitter Francesco Bagnaia in fourth place.

Though Bagnaia led early in the race, Bezzecchi briefly took command before Marquez launched a decisive attack on lap eight — maintaining the lead until the checkered flag without significant challenge.

Key incidents occurred when Alex Marquez and Joan Mir crashed after contact at Turn 12, while Enea Bastianini who was pursuing a podium position also failed to finish on lap seven.

With this result, Marc Marquez now leads the championship by 120 points — with 10 race weekends remaining in the 2025 season.
