Indonesia defeats Malaysia in Asian Junior Championships 2025

The Indonesian junior badminton team — led by Moh Zaki Ubaidillah, Thalita Ramadhani Wiryawan, and the pair of Devin Artha Wahyudi/Ikhsan Lintang Pramudya — successfully secured the Group B title at the 2025 Asian Junior Championships in GOR Indoor Manahan, Solo.

In the match using the relay point system, Indonesia prevailed over Malaysia with a final score of 110-92. Despite losing points when women’s doubles pair Rinjani Kwinara Nastine/Riska Anggraini were defeated by Low Zi Yu/Dania Sofea — the pair managed to redeem themselves in their second match.

Moh Zaki Ubaidillah, also known as Ubed and BWF’s number one junior men’s singles player, opened the match with a decisive victory over Kong Wei Xiang. The quarter-final draw is scheduled for tonight after all group matches conclude.
