Dean James confident about Indonesia’s World Cup 2026 qualification

Dean James expressed his confidence in Indonesia’s chances of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup — despite the team’s disappointing record against Iraq in their last three meetings.

“I’m very confident and I think this team is very close to achieving it,” stated Dean James. “We just need to do everything we can now and hope for the best.”

The Indonesian national team’s left-back revealed his enthusiasm about rejoining the national team ahead of the fourth round of qualifications.

“We do have a group on social media, but I usually go straight to Indonesia’s national team training camp. So I haven’t really checked my phone,” added Dean James.
