Groin Injury Forces Caitlin Clark to Miss WNBA All-Star 2025

Caitlin Clark of Indiana Fever — the top fan vote recipient — had to miss both the three-point contest and WNBA All-Star 2025 game in Indianapolis due to a right groin injury sustained against Connecticut.

Before the game, Clark shared moments with fellow All-Star captain Napheesa Collier of Minnesota Lynx — they playfully teased each other about which team would win while discussing ongoing collective bargaining agreement negotiations.

“Though I can’t play, I can still be here and participate. Many friends and family are in town and they’re having a great time,” Clark shared.

“When the injury happened, it was pretty frustrating considering what the coming days would hold. But this moment wasn’t going to be taken away from me.”

This season Clark has missed 10 regular-season games and the Commissioner’s Cup final due to a series of injuries — left quad, left groin, and right groin. The Fever, now standing at 12-11, face a busy schedule next week:

  • New York (Tuesday)
  • Las Vegas (Thursday)
  • Chicago (Sunday)
