Persis Solo Defeats PSIM Yogyakarta in Pre-season Friendly Match

Persis Solo emerged victorious against PSIM Yogyakarta with a 1-0 score in a pre-season friendly match held at Sultan Agung Stadium, Bantul — the sole goal came from Indonesian national team midfielder Zanadin Fariz.

This closed-door match marked the first Mataram derby ahead of the Super League 2025-2026 season — both teams are currently conducting their preparation camps in and around Bantul area.

Persis Solo’s coach Peter de Roo provided positive feedback on his team’s performance:

“In my opinion, this was a very beneficial match for us against a team from the same division. In the first half, we played very aggressively with good intensity.”

During this afternoon’s joint training session, Laskar Sambernyawa demonstrated progress after two weeks of training camp — despite facing challenges with less than ideal field conditions.
