Pedro Acosta Claims Czech GP Sprint Podium After Difficult Season Start

Pedro Acosta achieves impressive second place in Czech GP Sprint Race — his best result since last podium at Aragon last year. The 21-year-old rider nearly secured his first victory before being overtaken by Marc Marquez in the final laps.

“It was the darkest beginning of the season of my life, and being on the podium again is super nice,” Acosta stated in post-race interview.

The KTM Tech3 rider started from seventh position and capitalized on Francesco Bagnaia’s tire pressure issues. Enea Bastianini completed the podium in third place — his best result this season for the former Ducati rider.

Acosta, who recently recovered from compartment syndrome surgery in his right arm, showed significant performance improvement. Despite failing to defend the lead from Marquez, the Spanish rider dedicated his race result to the late Borja Gomez, European Superstock Championship rider.
