Tyler Shough signs $10.7 million contract with Saints

According to ESPN, quarterback Tyler Shough has signed a fully guaranteed $10.795 million contract with the New Orleans Saints — confirmed by his agent Erik Burkhardt.

The deal comes ahead of Saints’ training camp starting Wednesday at the team’s facility in Metairie, Louisiana, under new head coach Kellen Moore. Shough — selected 40th overall from Louisville — is projected to compete with second-year quarterback Spencer Rattler for the starting role.

Shough becomes Saints’ first second-round draft pick to receive a fully guaranteed contract. His contract structure includes unique annual roster bonuses — something not previously given to other non-first round picks.

With this signing, Saints have completed deals with all nine of their 2025 draft picks.
