Thailand U-23 dominates Timor Leste in ASEAN Cup opener

According to Bolasport.com, Thailand U-23 secured a convincing 4-0 victory over Timor Leste in their Group C opener of ASEAN Cup U-23 2025 at Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi.

Thailand’s four goals were scored by different players demonstrating their collective team strength:

• Yotsakor Burapha (14th minute)
• Thanawut Phochai (40th minute)
• Seksan Ratree (50th minute)
• Chawanwit Sealao (73rd minute)

This result puts Thailand at the top of Group C standings — followed by Myanmar in second place who previously drew 4-4 with Timor Leste.

Thailand showed dominance from the start — Yotsakor Burapha nearly scored in the first minute but was denied by goalkeeper Filonito Rodrigues Pereira. Although Olagar Xavier from Timor Leste attempted a counter-attack in the fourth minute — Thailand’s solid defense neutralized all opposing efforts.
