Nottingham Forest Prepare Bid for Jadon Sancho from Manchester United

According to The Sun, Nottingham Forest is preparing a bid to sign Jadon Sancho from Manchester United. The England international winger — who spent last season on loan at Chelsea — is projected as a replacement for Anthony Elanga.

Sancho, who previously clashed with former manager Erik ten Hag and was loaned to Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea — is now not in head coach Ruben Amorim’s plans. The 25-year-old player is expected to leave Old Trafford this summer.

Meanwhile, Arsenal has reached an impasse in their pursuit of striker Viktor Gyökeres from Sporting CP. Despite submitting an offer worth €63.5 million plus bonuses, the Portuguese club still demands a transfer fee closer to €80 million.

Manchester City is also considering bringing goalkeeper James Trafford back from Burnley. Although Newcastle United was previously linked with the 22-year-old player, both clubs have failed to reach an agreement — opening an opportunity for City to secure his services.
