Bagnaia Claims Czech MotoGP Pole Position, Marquez Involved in Incident with Zarco

Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati Lenovo team set the fastest time of 1 minute 52.303 seconds to secure pole position for the Czech MotoGP at Brno Circuit, as reported by Bolasport.com.

This front row start marks the Italian rider’s first since the beginning of the 2025 season — with Marc Marquez (Ducati) and Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha) completing the front row.

Towards the end of qualifying, Marquez was involved in an incident with Johann Zarco from LCR Honda team. Meanwhile, Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia) and Raul Fernandez (Yamaha test rider) secured fourth and fifth positions.

In Q1 session, Pol Espargaro from Red Bull KTM Tech3 briefly led before Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46) took over with a time of 1 minute 53.131 seconds. Bagnaia, starting from 13th position after practice, had to return to the pit to adjust his motorcycle.
