Gerald van den Belt praises Arkhan Fikri as world-class player

Former Ajax player and FC Eindhoven coach, Gerald van den Belt has given high praise to Indonesia U-23 national team player, Arkhan Fikri — calling him a world-class talent with potential to play for major clubs.

“I think he is a world-class player. If you can see other players like Arkhan, I think he could play for big clubs because he has great qualities,” stated van den Belt.

Van den Belt also praised the overall quality of the Young Garuda squad — highlighting the abilities of other players like Kakang Rudianto and Kadek Arel in executing corner kicks when Arkhan couldn’t perform them.

“Arkhan cannot take corner kicks, but we have Kakang, we have Kadek. I can mention many players who performed excellently. We need all these players to play in our own style,” he added.
