Hokky Caraka satisfied with U-23 national team victory over Philippines

According to Bolasport.com, Indonesia U-23 striker Hokky Caraka expressed his satisfaction after the Young Garuda team managed to defeat Philippines 1-0 in the ASEAN Cup U-23 2025 match at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium.

The 20-year-old PSS Sleman player — got his chance as a starter after previously only sitting on the bench in the opening match.

Hokky successfully executed coach Gerald Vanenburg’s instructions — providing constant pressure on Philippines’ defense despite not managing to get his name on the scoresheet.

The young striker’s impressive performance ended in the 46th minute — replaced by Jens Raven after the team had taken the lead through a goal scored in the 23rd minute.
