Heavyweight Clash: Dubois Outweighs Usyk by 16 Pounds Ahead of Fight

Daniel Dubois demonstrated a significant weight advantage at the BoxPark weigh-in near Wembley Stadium — the British fighter recorded a weight 16.5 pounds heavier than Oleksandr Usyk.

This weight comparison recalls their first encounter about two years ago — when Usyk prevailed with a 9th round KO victory, despite being 12 pounds lighter. Dubois now comes in lighter than his last fight against Anthony Joshua last September.

Despite frequent questions about his size since moving up to heavyweight, Usyk has proven his excellence — the Ukrainian boxer successfully defeated Tyson Fury twice last year by decision.

This fight represents Usyk’s chance to become a two-time undisputed heavyweight champion, while Dubois could become the first British boxer to achieve this feat since Lennox Lewis 26 years ago.

“I will bring chaos,” stated Dubois, who promises an aggressive approach from the opening bell — a strategy that led to his shocking victory over Joshua several months ago.
