Inter Miami Close to Securing Rodrigo De Paul from Atletico Madrid

Inter Miami is finalizing the transfer of Rodrigo De Paul from Atletico Madrid. The 31-year-old Argentine midfielder — will initially join on a six-month loan deal.

The transfer agreement includes a mandatory purchase clause worth 15 million euros plus bonuses — which will be activated in early 2026. De Paul will sign a long-term contract until 2029 with the American club.

The deal also includes a special clause — allowing Atletico Madrid to loan back the player in mid-2027. De Paul’s arrival will strengthen Inter Miami’s midfield as they continue building a competitive squad.
