Manchester United finally fixes facility criticized by Cristiano Ronaldo

Following Cristiano Ronaldo’s criticism in 2022, Manchester United has finally decided to upgrade the Carrington training facility that hasn’t seen significant changes for the past 25 years.

The Carrington training complex — equipped with fields, player accommodations, health center, fitness facilities, medical center, indoor training areas, and swimming pool — came under scrutiny after Ronaldo expressed his concerns.

“The swimming pool condition is unsuitable due to loose tiles. This could endanger players using it,” Ronaldo stated at the time.

The Portuguese superstar’s criticism emerged during his second spell with the Red Devils, highlighting the need for facility updates to maintain standards worthy of an elite European club.
