Red Bull Plans Tsunoda Exit, Eyes Teen Move for Verstappen’s Next Partner

Red Bull Racing is reportedly planning to part ways with Yuki Tsunoda after the 2025 Formula 1 season, following a poor campaign in which he’s scored just 7 points and sits 17th in the standings.

Despite backing from Red Bull’s sister team Racing Bulls, Tsunoda’s inconsistency has prompted management to explore other options. According to internal sources, Red Bull is now considering promoting one of its junior stars to partner Max Verstappen in 2026.

Leading the shortlist are 20-year-old Isack Hadjar, currently racing with Racing Bulls, and 17-year-old Arvid Lindblad, a standout in Formula 2. Both are seen as long-term investments aligned with Red Bull’s youth-driven strategy.

With new technical regulations arriving in 2026, the team appears set on building for the future—starting with a bold change to its driver lineup.
