The world’s most popular Dota 2 carry Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen, who has recently returned to Dota 2 server, doesn’t seem to lose his golden touch that made him a renowned professional player.

Not too long ago, Topson surprised the Dota 2 community when his name appeared in public matchmaking after a long absence. His last known involvement in a top tier circuit was with Tundra Esports in September 2024.

Post Tundra, he retired to complete Finland’s mandatory military service and went home in June 2025. Fans noticed the two-time International champion was back to the shack as he came out with impressive stats while adapting to the current meta.

Lately, he’s formed a small team and regularly competes in Dota 2’s Battle Cup mode. Recent matches show he still dominates against amateur and semi-pro players who use these matches to improve.
