Thailand U-23 cautious ahead of Timor Leste clash after surprising ASEAN Cup result

According to Bolasport.com, Thailand U-23 national team has expressed concerns ahead of their match against Timor Leste in Group C of ASEAN Cup U-23 2025 — a group that also includes Myanmar.

These concerns emerged after the group’s opening match at Patriot Chandrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi, two days ago — where Timor Leste managed to hold Myanmar to a 4-4 draw.

The match featured remarkable drama — Myanmar initially led 2-0 through goals from Shine Wanna Aung and Zaw Win Thein before the 39th minute.

Zenivio and Figo equalized for Timor Leste, but Myanmar regained a 4-2 lead thanks to goals from Than Toe Aung and Min Maw Oo. Timor Leste eventually managed to level the score in the final minutes of the match.
