Erick Thohir reveals Ole Romeny’s condition after surgery in Netherlands

PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir provided an update on Ole Romeny’s condition following his recent surgery in the Netherlands.

The Indonesia national team player suffered an injury while playing for Oxford United against Arema FC in the President’s Cup 2025 — his foot was stepped on by Paulinho during Group A match at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Soreang.

After the incident, Romeny immediately returned to the Netherlands for medical treatment. According to Oxford United’s medical team, the surgery performed yesterday was successful.

“Ole Romeny’s condition is good,” said Erick Thohir.
