Malik Tillman officially joins Bayer Leverkusen from PSV Eindhoven

Malik Tillman has officially joined Bayer Leverkusen from PSV Eindhoven last weekend, according to bundesliga.com.

The 23-year-old attacking midfielder impressed during his two seasons at PSV — scoring 24 goals and providing 15 assists in 68 appearances across all competitions.

His stellar performances with the United States national team in the Gold Cup and summer friendlies — recording three goals and three assists in eight matches — proved crucial for the move.

Tillman is projected to fill the attacking midfield role in US coach Mauricio Pochettino’s 4-2-3-1 formation ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
